A new music and arts festival in Singapore will combine live performances with a camping experience from Sep 30 to Oct 1.

Organised by Singaporean party collective Ice Cream Sundays and Hong Kong creative agency FuFu Creative, the Sunda Festival will be held at Sarimbun Scout Camp and feature acts from around the Asia-Pacific region.

Notable artists that will perform at the event include Xes Xes Loveseat, Ali (Live) and Wax’o Paradiso.

Beyond his usual club gigs, Xes Xes Loveseat has curated music for art exhibitions, fashion shows and music festivals other than his usual club gigs. Visitors can expect to hear a wide range of genres from the Kuala Lumpur-based DJ, such as disco, house and techno beats at the festival.

Offering a combination of cinematic soul and afro-beats with Arabic lyrics, Ali is a three-piece musical collective from Jakarta, Indonesia. They intend to incorporate their Middle Eastern culture into performances to create a unique sound in the Indonesian music scene.

Melbourne-based DJ duo Wax’o Paradiso’s music is deeply rooted in the Australian landscape, inspired by the rhythms and textures of rainfall, coastlines and open spaces.
