16 SBS Transit bus routes amended for Marina Bay Singapore Countdown 2023
Affected bus services will skip selected bus stops in the area from 6pm on Dec 31.
Routes for 16 SBS Transit bus services will be amended on Dec 31 due to road closures for the Marina Bay Singapore Countdown 2023, announced SBS Transit today (Dec 27).
Affected bus services 10, 14, 16, 56, 57, 70/70M, 100, 111, 130, 131, 133, 162M, 195, 196, 400 and 502 will skip bus stops along Bayfront Avenue, Beach Road and those in the vicinity of the Civic District.
These services will also skip select bus stops from 6pm till the end of bus operations. Select bus services will also see extended operating hours on New Years Eve.
Only bus service 400’s route will be affected from 10pm till its last bus. It will skip the bus stops at The Sail and Marina Bay Financial Centre.
Four bus stops along Bayfront Avenue will be skipped by bus services from 6pm.
A total of five bus stops along Beach Road, Bras Basah Road and Cecil Street will be skipped from 11pm.
Two bus stops at Central Boulevard and one at Collyer Quay will be skipped from 6pm till its last bus.
Along Esplanade Drive, services at the After Esplanade Station Exit D bus stop will be skipped from 6pm till its last bus. Services at the Esplanade Bridge bus stop and the Fullerton Square bus stop will be skipped from 11pm till its last bus.
Bus service 133 will skip bus stops at The Sail and Marina Bay Financial Centre from 6pm till its last bus.
Two bus stops along Nicoll Highway and the After Singapore Flyer bus stop located at Raffles Avenue will be skipped from 11pm till its last bus.
Bus stops at The Float @ Marina Bay and The Esplanade will be skipped from 6pm till its last bus.
Certain bus stops at Robinson Road, Stamford Road, Temasek Avenue and Temasek Boulevard will also be skipped from 11pm till the last bus. They include stops at Raffles Place Station Exit F, Capitol Building, Promenade Station, Opposite The RitzCarlton and Suntec Convention Centre.
SMRT Corporation bus services 75, 960, 960e, 961 and Tower Transit services 77, 97, 106, 167 and 857 will see affected routes.
Go-Ahead Singapore reflected on its website that bus services 36 and 518 were affected.
