1,275 new COVID-19 cases reported on Nov 25; 544 aged between 12 and 39

There were 1,275 new COVID-19 cases reported in Singapore on Thursday (Nov 25), said the Ministry of Health (MOH).

Of the new infections, 1,228 were from the community and 544 of those infected were aged between 12 and 39.

No new clusters have been identified. MOH is closely monitoring three active clusters that have reported new cases — ECON Healthcare Nursing Home at Chai Chee, Pacific Healthcare Nursing Home at Lengkok Bahru, and the Society for the Aged Sick at Hougang.

There were three COVID-19-related deaths reported on Nov 25. They were aged between 69 and 74 years old and all of them had underlying medical conditions that interfered with their recovery.

The national death toll now stands at 681.

There were 3,223 cases discharged from the hospital over the past day. Currently, 1,251 cases remain warded in hospitals, with 206 cases requiring oxygen supplementation. There are 86 cases that remain in the Intensive Care Unit.

In the last 28 days, 70,746 cases have been recorded, of which 98.7 per cent had no or mild symptoms and 0.8 per cent have required oxygen supplementation.

About 85 per cent of the population are fully vaccinated, 86 per cent have received at least one dose and 24 per cent have received boosters.
