1,103 new COVID-19 cases reported on Nov 29; 460 aged between 12 and 39

There were 1,103 new COVID-19 cases reported in Singapore on Monday (Nov 29), said the Ministry of Health (MOH).

Of the new infections, 1,070 were from the community and 460 of those infected were aged between 12 and 39.

No new clusters have been identified. MOH is closely monitoring an active cluster that has reported new cases — Jenaris Home @ Pelangi Village in Buangkok Green.

There were nine COVID-19-related deaths reported on Nov 29. They were aged between 58 and 91 years old, and all except one unvaccinated individual had underlying medical conditions that interfered with their recovery.

The national death toll now stands at 710.

There were 1,812 cases discharged from the hospital over the past day. Currently, 1,158 cases remain warded in hospitals, with 221 cases requiring oxygen supplementation. There are 79 cases that remain in the Intensive Care Unit.

In the last 28 days, 62,442 cases have been recorded, of which 98.7 per cent had no or mild symptoms and 0.9 per cent have required oxygen supplementation.

About 85 per cent of the population are fully vaccinated, 86 per cent have received at least one dose and 26 per cent have received boosters.
