The GUILD aims to promote community living that values all individuals regardless of the challenges they face.
The GUILD has developed a wonderful life skills programme to help ALL students 13 years and above learn new skills taught in a true-to-life setting. The week long programmes facilitates the teaching, learning of life skills, forming new friendships in a safe, nurturing beautiful college campus. We aspire to create new friendships while providing an opportunity to become a contributing member of the community. Our aim is to promote community living that values all individuals regardless of the challenges they face.
The GUILD Camp One : Community Living Skills Camp
2 days/ 3 days/ 5 days options available
· Grocery shopping
· Budgeting and money management (bill paying, record keeping, personal bank account)
· Community safety
· Preparation of meals
· Organizing personal belongings and living area
· Laundry
· Home management, housekeeping and cleaning
The GUILD Camp Two : Job Training and Coaching
2 days/3days/5 days options available
· Completing an interview
· Writing a resume
· Filling out a job application
· Job readiness skills
· “On-the-job” training with a job coach
The GUILD Camp Three : DJ Camp for the music creators of tomorrow
2 days/3days/5days option available
Created in collaboration with professional DJs, this camp is where you will take first steps into the exciting world of mixing music to create unforgettable experiences. Over two to five days, your music makers of tomorrow will learn from real DJs and producers to create their very own mix and perform it to their class on professional DJing equipment.
