*SCAPE Career Studio 2.0
“Should I pursue this career? How do I choose what to focus on? Why not give yourself a chance to gain some ideas, inspiration, and pathways on what you can be doing in your future career. Here at *SCAPE, we want to come alongside you – to guide you as you ideate and test out your career aspirations. Not sure where to start? Come join us for the Career Kickstarter from the *SCAPE Career Studio! This programme is open to youth aged 18 – 35.
In 2023, we have an exciting 3-stage programme lined up with fresh new experiences.
First Stage – Career Discovery You’ll get to discover what drives you – your self, your story– and match it with your situation to come up with a strategy for finding a career interest that drives you! You’ll also generate ideas to fulfil your career aspirations, with *SCAPE’s support.
Second Stage – Choose Your Own Adventure Choose from 4 different masterclasses helmed by 4 Singaporean creatives doing some pretty cool stuff! You’ll get to learn about both the “glam” and “unglam” parts that go into building a creative career AND get to ask all your burning questions in a cosy, intimate setting. As a bonus, you’ll get to do a mini project with the creative during the masterclass!
Third Stage – Fish Tank To cap off your Adventure, pitch your creative career idea in front of a panel of judges and 5 individuals will receive up to S$1,000 in funding, networks and resources to launch your career project for real. We awarded S$1,000 each to 3 youths who pitched at Fish Tank and received support from *SCAPE to launch their career projects in the last season. They got to explore their respective career interests as an illustrator, a podcaster and a singer.
