Marine Scientists Day Camp
Don the role of a Marine Scientist as we embark on a day camp adventure by our coastal area!
This programme consists of both indoor and outdoor experience; it commences with an onsite/facilitated Video Conservation Talk to introduce our local biodiversity, anthropogenic challenges, and conservation efforts that individuals can partake in. Participants will then be tasked with the mission of creatively engaging the audiences, to showcase various animals’/ plants’ specimens, through public speaking, planned games or even activity booths.
The outdoor fun starts with a hands-on Coastal Clean-up session, with data recorded to be submitted to International Coastal Clean-up Singapore (ICCS). The Marine Scientists’ adventures will end off with by an exciting exploration at the intertidal zone, where participants get to meet the unique biodiversity of intertidal animals!
