Inkmaking Workshop with Wild Dot, Boo Chih Min and Charles Lim
Journey and make kin with our surrounding biodiversity in this collaborative workshop.
Journey and make kin with our surrounding biodiversity in this collaborative workshop with Wild Dot, a botanical ink-making studio that specializes in making paints and artworks with natural pigments found across Singapore.
In conjunction with the exhibition Charles Lim: Staggered Observations of a Coast, and inspired by Lim’s previous work SEA STATE 9: Proclamation Garden, this workshop invites participants to experiment with ink extraction using plant species that thrive at reclaimed areas along Changi. Participants will be joined by botanist Boo Chih Min and Charles Lim himself, who will share about the processes and species behind Proclamation Garden.
