Hear65, the national movement in celebration of all forms of Singaporean music, has launched Hear65 Sing Along SG, a month-long digital karaoke concert series. From 23 May to 13 June, the star-studded affair will see Singaporean artists across genres and languages come together in celebration of homegrown music.
The digital event kicked off on 23 May with performances by The Pinholes, RRILEY, Tabitha Nauser and THELIONCITYBOY, while the second session on 30 May featured HubbaBubbas, M1LDL1FE, OHMYMEITING + Goose and Sam Rui. Artists performing in the remaining weeks include Charlie Lim, Iman’s League, Jeremy Monteiro, Joanna Dong, MICappella, Sezairi, Shak’thiya and Sobs.
Following the nationwide cancellation of events and closures of performing venues due to the COVID-19 pandemic, Hear65 is determined to provide tangible support for the Arts. Designed to bring a reimagined digital concert experience to Singaporeans in a safe yet innovative format, Hear65 Sing Along SG will be providing work opportunities for over 90 self-employed practitioners from the arts community.
